With their new retro rebrand, Burger King wanted to refresh the cult-favorite Chicken Fries packaging without losing its playful personality. The goal was clear: make the heat instantly recognizable and create a design fun enough to be Instagrammable.
The ask
The result
Leaning into the retro aspects of BK’s rebrand, I took queues from vintage devil illustrations and wickedly spicy peppers. My design winks at the original beloved chick fry packaging, but turns up the heat with a devilish chicken character complete with horns, a pitchfork, flaming pepper, and a mischievous grin.
