Burger King:
Promotional Design
Contributions
Animation • Photo retouching • Strategy • Packaging design
My team partnered with Burger King to develop all of its in-restaurant marketing materials. This included menu boards, static and animated ads for new campaigns and limited-time offers, and occasional packaging work. While the brand constantly evolved and changed, we were tasked with creating consistently on-brand content.
The ask
We created cohesive, on-brand visuals that connected national campaigns to the in-restaurant experience. Keeping the customer’s path-to-purchase at the forefront, our team also played a key role in deploying Burger King’s retro rebrand, extending its refreshed look and feel across menus, packaging, and in-store touchpoints.
The result
Brand consistency across 6,500 stores
Packaging
Kids Meal packaging
This playful packaging system for Burger King’s Kids Meals brings BK’s updated retro identity to life. The concept reimagines Burger King’s “Have It Your Way” slogan, encouraging kids to embrace individuality through bold illustrations and character-driven illustrations. The system includes a meal bag and three flavored milk bottles, each with its own personality.
Chicago O’Hare International Airport crown
To celebrate the opening of a new Burger King in Chicago O’Hare, I developed designs for the brand’s iconic paper crowns.
This concept taps into the excitement of flying through a child’s eyes, turning the BK logo into part of a playful sky filled with Whopper-, fry-, and soda-shaped clouds.
Clear Skies, Your Way
This version celebrates Chicago’s iconic, unmistakable skyline. By swapping traditional crown jewels for playful illustrations of the city’s most famous buildings and attractions, the crown becomes a fun, Chicago-inspired keepsake that kids and travelers can instantly recognize.
